Founded in 2024 by Brent Guyer, Pocket Theologian was born out of a desire to make theology clear, accessible, and approachable for all. At the time, Brent was still in high school, studying Wayne Grudem’s Systematic Theology with his pastor and discipling a younger student through R.C. Sproul’s What is Reformed Theology? He noticed that resources explaining theology in a simple and understandable way—without requiring advanced academic training—were hard to find.
This realization inspired Brent to explore all of God’s Word with the goal of presenting His truth in a straightforward yet glorious manner. From that vision, Pocket Theologian was created: a platform dedicated to equipping the saints and helping people everywhere deepen their understanding of who God is and what He is doing in the world.
